HUNGUEST Hotel Pelion is located in the town centre of Tapolca, in the west part of the Balaton highlands. This hotel is situated in a 4 hectare park, directly above a cave ideal for curing respiratory diseases with it special microclimate. The direct connection between the Hotel Pelion and this grotto is completely unique in Europe. The hotel has its own wellness and therapy department and the following sport, fitness and wellness facilities: "fun bath" with different fun elements (geyser, neck shower, Jacuzzi, children's pool), thermal bath, outdoor swimming pool, children's pool in the kindergarten, different types of saunas (bio, Finnish, infra), steam bath, pool for submerging, fitness room, four tennis courts (two indoor and two outdoor), two squash courts, badminton court, volleyball court, and miniature golf. The area activities also include horse riding, mountain climbing, cycling, surfing. A full service spa includes cosmetician, hairdresser, manicure, pedicure, solarium, wellness body treatments and baths (with BABOR, Thalasso and Styx products). HUNGUEST Hotel Pelion offers 228 guest rooms with television (HBO), telephone, Internet access, air conditioning and mini bar. The bathrooms have bath tub/shower and toilet. Driving Directions
From Budapest Ferihegy Airport: An airport bus links the city center ErzsTbet Square bus station with the airport every 30 minutes. There is an airport minibus service to any address in Budapest. A pre pay local bus 93 from the airport to the underground metro terminus, K÷bßnya Kispest although passengers may wish to alight at Deßk tTr where the three underground lines meet. Taxis are available from the airport at the taxi stand, but their fares can be unregulated; passengers should negotiate a fare before leaving the airport. Guests can catch a train from Budapest to Tapolca or rent a car at the airport.
